Quicksilva: Charity, giving something back.

Quicksilva are a generous bunch. We raise money for various charities in a number of ways, but it's always good fun.

  • Charity marathon entries
  • Bag packing for NSPCC
  • Charity Bake Off afternoon tea

We've been known to run sweepstakes, wash cars, shave heads and make our male staff members yelp in pain from leg waxing.

We have supported a number of National charities over the years, and this year we are supporting local ones that cover our people's interests.

Our Quicksilva charities for 2015 are Dorothy House, Springboard and Children's Hospice South West.

It has been said that much of our fundraising is based around food and drink - some people say the Company is fuelled by refined carbohydrates...and it's true, there is usually some sort of tasty treat to be had in the kitchen.

Children's Hospice South West provides hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their whole family.
Owain Jennings 2015

We are currently supporting local student Owain Jennings, who is planning an expedition to Peru in summer, organised and supported by Camps International, to carry out community development work and environmental projects.

This will be particularly challenging for Owain as he has Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Although he has struggled with learning at school, this trip will help him to grow and develop in new areas and we are delighted to help raise funds for his trip.
